Uncharted 2 gets the Trophy Patch, MGS4 and Valkyria Chronicles Still Trophy-less

Apparently IGN got us good when they stated on a recent podcast that a very good PS3 game would be getting trophies. Well a very good game indeed receive trophies, but they had the internet in a frenzy and thinking the games would be very good games such as “Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots” or “Valkyria Chronicles”. It makes sense now, since IGN were the first to release exclusive details on the Uncharted 2 DLC that they definitely meant Uncharted 2′s new 12 multiplayer trophies.

Ever since Sony introduced the Trophy system for the PS3, most PS3 gamers were eager to receive a trophy patch of some sort for their favorite PS3 title. But some patches never existed, never came, and the game remains intact, and trophy-less. Now a day, all PS3 games are required to have trophies and a great way it is, to keep the gamer involved and hooked to the challenges the trophy system implements. But how many superb games were left out? There are more than a few titles that never received a trophy patch, but there are those few that we play, that are just as good with or without trophies. PS3 gamers, get ready for another TQcast Trophy contest brought to you by TQfam DOOM CMYK! The contest starts Monday September 14 2009 and will end October 5 2009. The winner of this contest will win a $50 US PSN card. Contest entries will open Monday September 7, and close September 11 at 11:59pm. This contest is only open to all registered TQforum members that have entered their PSN ID in this thread, so head on over there and register if you haven’t already.

All current TQfam on the TQcast Trophy leaderboard have automatically been added to this contest, so no need to re-post.

Details:

The PS3 gamer with the most total trophy points from September 14 to October 5 will win the $50 US PSN card.

• Bronze Trophies= 2 points
• Silver Trophies = 3 points
• Gold Trophies = 5 points
