PSPgo or PSPno?

October 1st, 2009 | By JUiCE

After excruciating patience and hundreds of rumors floating around before its official release, the PSPgo has officially launched. The PSPgo has launched with many features such as integrated Wifi, Bluetooth and a 16gb of flash storage. With a retail price of $249.99, consumers are definitely taking a second look at the PSPgo and making comparisons to the PSP3000 which is priced at $169.99.

Unless you are a person that must have the latest and greatest, the obvious selection here would be to choose the PSP3000, simply because of it’s price. But the real question here is, why would Sony take such a huge risk in pricing the PSPgo at $249.99? Could it be that Sony is just pricing the PSPgo high to get rid of all the PSP3000, and come the holiday season drop the price? If this is so, everyone should wait for a price drop instead of running out and spending that hard earned money during these hard economical times. Holding off on the PSPgo purchase might be very difficult to some, after seeing the many things the PSPgo can do, and all the games it will offer.

PS3 Slim Will Be $299.99

July 6th, 2009 | By Desz

New PS3 bundles are starting to hit the shelves, like the Wall-e/Little Big Planet bundle that recently started selling at Best Buy, and now a Killzone 2/MGS4 bundle that is rumored to hit the shelves soon. But is Sony trying to get rid of the 80GB sku before it releases PS3’s next best thing? Are the current bundles worth the buy? The PS3 Slim is pretty much the real deal, and there has to be great belief that it has to come out at a lower price to attract consumers. So, let’s do the math 80GB PS3 =$399.99- $60(Killzone 2) – $30 (MGS4) the same can be subtracted by using the Wall-e/LBP bundle, and the new total is around $310, which leads to a very accurate price for the PS3 Slim. Say hello to the $299.99 PS3 Slim.

As far as the new 80GB bundles go, a good buy with a good movie, and great games, but quite honestly, Sony might be too late introducing these bundles. What a leak does to your sales. PS3 Slim, come to papa.
