That’s right, 2Ksports is offering the first person that pitches a no hitter within the first 60 days of the game’s release, one million dollars. You must be playing on an Xbox 360 or PS3, and you have to record yourself playing the game from start to finish for proof. 2K hired some tricknology officers to catch any fake videos, so don’t waste your time faking it. MLB2K10 releases March 2nd. Check out all the details at the 2KSports website.

TQcast EP 97 – “The Lost Tape”

January 28th, 2010 | By JUiCE

I want to start off saying, “I LOVE Apple, and Apple products”. There are sometimes when Apple just fails, and today, January 27, 2010 I declare “Apple Fail Day”. That’s right, today, Apple did not only fail to name/design their tablet notebook, but they also built a crappy OS (Snow Leopard) that they have not fixed to be compatible with iLife ‘09. While recording TQcast EP 97, GarageBand decided to stop responding, therefore losing our amazing EP 97. I apologize and truly feel bummed out because of this situation. I want to thank everyone for making it to the live show and thank those who sent us text messages and Voicemails. S**t happens sometimes and I’m really hoping Apple fixes all these bugs with Snow Leopard and iLife 09 because I’ve had this issue in the past.

Don’t forget to tune in every week to TQcast LIVE every Wednesday at 6:00pm PST on www.allgames.com. Also feel free to leave us a Voicemail or Text Message at (951) 282-SHOT (7468) !

January 21st, 2010 | By Desz

Remember our interview with Sam Thompson, Producer for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con? Well it appears that his hard to get out of him answers we were finally able to get, are now surfacing the inter webs. Custom Skins were an obvious interpretation to his answer, and now it is confirmed! SCE Japan announced that Uncharted 2’s multiplayer will be getting new DLC in the form of multiplayer skins from other first-party games, including Killzone 2, inFamous and Resistance. No word on whether or not this DLC will be available globally any time soon. But if you have a JP account, you should be set. Check out images below. (more…)

PlayStation Store team member Mike Kebby has confirmed the release date for the much anticipated Heavy Rain demo on the EU PSN. “Heavy Rain demo should be on the store on the 11th of Feb”. No word on the US demo release date yet, let’s just hope that it is either earlier or same day. In any case that the US demo does not come out before or same day, make sure you create yourself a EU PSN account if you haven’t already and download the demo that way.

Skype Goes HD

January 5th, 2010 | By Desz

The Jetsons was a hell of a show! But even the Jetsons didn’t have high definition support for their Skype calls. The latest Skype BETA 4.2 supports High Definition video at 720p (1280×720) at 30fps. In conjunction with this great new update, there are a couple of companies Skype has collaborated with to offer self video encoding and processing onboard webcams. Meaning, no need to have a speedy PC to support the HD video. All the HD encoding is done inside that little circle of glass. The webcams are from faceVision and In Store. The cams range from $70-$140 respectively.

Along with this space age Skype update, Skype also partner up with LG and Panasonic to bring Skype HD-enabled TVs. The TV’s will come with all the features the PC and Mac app offers, plus a 720p webcam, and microphone designed to pick up even the quietest farts.

I’ll talk to you guys later, calling my Abuelita through Skype HD. aka “Jetsons HD”.

Good looking out Litigator!

EA Sports – It’s In The Wallet!?

December 4th, 2009 | By JUiCE

Just like I stated in TQCast EP 89, in the gaming industry, EA is becoming what “Lil Wayne and T-Pain” are in the music industry…. and that is: THEY ARE EVEYWHERE! You can now open your up wallet and find a prepaid EA Sports Visa Debit Card.  Now I know what you’re thinking, “I don’t need another debit card”, well check this out: By using this debit card, EA will actually reward you with EA reward points that you can use towards any EA titles. Check out the video after the break! by the way, can anyone tell me who that is in the video? She might be the “Hottie of the Week” for me on TQCast EP 89.
