This is How We Eat: Firehouse Subs

Get those taste buds ready, it’s time for another installment of This Is How We Eat. If you are unfamiliar with what’s going on here, please refer to our previous articles for more information. Finding a place to get a sub sandwich is not an impossible task nowadays, but visiting a place that serves great ones is a whole different story. Today we are going to talk about a place that makes some of the most delicious sub s that I’ve had in a long time, and it’s called Firehouse Subs.

Established in 1994 (Now with 700 locations in the US and Puerto Rico), this Firemen operated restaurant offers some tasty sandwich choices at reasonable prices. I usually get the Smokehouse Beef & Cheddar Brisket Sub Combo, which includes chips, a pickle, and  a medium sized fountain drink, all for around a little less than $10 or so. It’s not exactly the cheapest meal on earth, but in all honesty, for what you get, it’s not all that bad either. After I finished all of this though, my stomach is usually quite full, so I don’t have much room left to try anything else, but I’m leaving satisfied anyways, so it really doesn’t matter.

As far bad things go, I don’t have anything to complain about. There could be a little bit more meat in the sandwiches, but that’s about it.

If you are looking for an alternative to Subway, Firehouse Subs might be the place for you. Check them out now, you won’t be disappointed.
