Late Night Gamer: Bob’s Burgers

There is something that I would like to talk to all of you about before the night is out. Lately I have been addicted to watching new shows on Netflix (at least new to me anyway). One of these programs goes by the name of Bob’s Burgers, a raunchy animated sitcom from Fox. After watching a couple of episodes, it dawned on me, this is a very fun show that doesn’t pull any punches whatsoever.

Meet Bob, he is the owner of a local burger joint, and has a family that pushes his buttons on almost a daily basis. Tina is an awkward teenager obsessed with a boy that works at the restaurant across the street. Gene is the only boy, who loves music, and also watching old western movies. Louise is the baby of the family, but don’t tell her that, because she is about as feisty as they come. Finally, there’s Linda, Bob’s wife, and someone who is obsessed with impressing other people all the time. All together, this group of misfits get themselves into some crazy (and sometimes creepy) situations week after week, but at least they have each other, and in the end, that’s what  really matters.

What I like the most about this show is that the funny moments don’t feel forced for the most part. Everything here feels genuine, and also a little bit emotional at times too. If you are a fan of something that looks traditional on the outside, but ends up being  crazy on the inside, then Bob’s Burgers is for you. I guess you could say that about their burgers too. Good night everybody.
