Nintendo Download of the Week: Challenging, yet Rewarding

Sorry for the delay folks, let’s just get right into it and see what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. Today’s offering is a mixed bag of goodies, so it’s going to be hard to pick a favorite, that’s for sure. Some of my favorite experiences as a gamer are seeing the light of day again, yet some new releases definitely show some potential as well. That being said, let’s see if anything stood out from the rest, shall we?

My pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Super Mario Bros. The Lost Levels for the Wii U VC Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and is currently available for download through the Wii U eShop at the asking price of $4,99. The reason why I picked this one was simple, I’m always up for a challenge, and this game brings it in a big way. If you feel the same way as I do, then by all means download this title as soon as possible.

Not up for something difficult, don’t worry, there are still three new 3DS Download titles, one new 3DS VC title, two new 3DS Retail Download titles, four recently discounted 3DS Download titles, and one new 3DS Demo available for you to try out. Try not to get trapped inside the box in Cube Tactics. Have fun learning the Alphabet in Lola’s ABC Party. Avoiding needles would be an issue when playing Bubble Pop World. Show those space alien scum who’s boss in Galaga. See what Mario’s mode of transportation has gotten himself into this time around in Yoshi’s New Island.

As usual, one paragraph won’t do it, so here we go. Get two movie games for the price of one in Madagascar 3 and The Croods Prehistoric Party Pack. Your four recently discounted 3DS Download titles are Steamworld Dig ($4.50 until March 16th), Star Wars Pinball ($3.49 March 17th-31st), Marvel Pinball 3D ($3.99 March 17th-31st), and Zen Pinball 3D ($3.49 March 17th-31st). Finally, your new 3DS Demo is Wakedas.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, Wii, and Wii U eShop Channels right now, have fun!
