Nintendo Download of the Week: Time to get into Shape

Wii Fit U TQ

Happy Halloween everybody, it’s that time once again for us to check out what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. Once again, we have been overrun by a large number of titles just itching to be played. Could this be our worst nightmare, or a blessing in disguise? Let’s take a chance and find out.

My pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is the trial version of Wii Fit U ( available for free from the eShop from Nov. 1st 2013-Jan. 13th,2014) for the Wii U Retail Download Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available tomorrow for free. The reason why I chose this one was because I need an excuse to get myself into shape once and for all, and hopefully this game can make that happen. If you feel the same way as I do here, then by all means download this title as soon as possible.

Not in the mood to lose some weight, don’t worry, there is still one new Wii U VC title, two new Wii U Retail Download titles, one recently discounted Wii U Download title, two new 3DS eShop titles, one new 3DS VC title, five 3DS retail download titles, one new 3DS Demo, and one recently discounted 3DS Retail Download title for you to check out. Show those creatures of the night whose boss in Super Castlevania IV. See how the Avengers fair as building blocks when playing LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. Go on an adventure of body morphing proportions in Ben 10 Omniverse 2 (Nov 5th). Your recently discounted Wii U Download title is Bit Trip presents Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien ($9.99 from Nov.1st-7th). Apparently animals that hop around can have a bad temper, just ask the Angry Bunnies.  Relive the good old days of wasting quarters on video games in Arcade Classics 3D.

As usual, one paragraph won’t do it, so here we go. Become the king of the, well I think you get the idea, when playing Milon’s Secret Castle. Enjoy playing with blocks in a portable way in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes: Universe In Peril. Spin out of control in Beyblade Evolution (Nov. 5th). Not even the ghostbusters can help you from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures (Nov. 5th). Witness cheesy special effects at their finest when playing Saban’s Power Rangers: Megaforce (Nov. 5th). Not going to explain the same thing twice, all you need to know here is that Ben 10 Omniverse 2 (Nov. 5th) is coming to handheld systems as well. I’ve got the need, the need to try out the 3DS Demo for AiRace Speed. Finally, your recently discounted 3DS Retail Download title is Shin Megami Tensei IV ($39.99 from Nov.4th to  Nov. 11th).

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, Wii, and Wii U eShop Channels right now, have fun!

Here is a trailer for the game, enjoy!
