I got the chance to check out the trial for Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion yesterday, and it was actually a pretty enjoyable experience. The trial itself is around 1.11 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So what did I think of it? Well, despite some minor issues here and there, this is was still an enjoyable game overall. Let’s take a moment to go over the highs and low of my experience with this one, shall we?
The Good: Combat is enjoyable and responsive for the most part, special moves are just as enjoyable to watch as they are to pull off, the ability to grab defensive items within the environment to protect yourself was a nice touch, boss fights actually required some critical thinking in order to complete, and a nice upgrade system, along with an online multiplayer mode, gives players a reason to come back for more.
The Bad: Sense of humor can be a little bit over the top at times, platforming controls are a little stiff in certain areas that require them to be used, and the framerate can drag in certain sections as well.
Final Demo Verdict: While not perfect by any means, Orc Attack: Flatulent Rebellion still has enough appeal to give fans of the genre something worthwhile to play, download it now.
