Got a chance to check the Diablo III today, and despite my gripes with these types of games, my experience here was actually somewhat enjoyable. The demo itself is around 1.28 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So what did I think of it? Well, despite being repetitive in nature, there are plenty of features here that will keep fans of the series coming back for more. Let’s take a moment to go over the highs and low of my experience with this one, shall we?
The Good: Controls overall feel responsive, very expansive character customization options give you a reason to keep playing, special attacks are easy to pull off, and are also fun to watch as well. Framerate stays steady throughout, and people are able to import their money and stats acquired from the demo over to the original game.
The Bad: Gameplay becomes extremely repetitive after a while, voice acting is a little on the cheesy side, other than that, nothing.
Final Demo Verdict: Even though I’m not really a fan of the series, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t check this game out. People in the mood for a very expansive adventure should give the title a chance, enough said.
