Got a chance to check out Cloudberry Kingdom for XBLA recently, and to be honest with you, it was a whole lot fun to play. The game itself is around 436 MB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So what did I think of it? Well, it was an enjoyable platformer that reminded of the good old days. Let’s take some time now to go over the highs and lows of my experience, shall we?
The Good: Solid and easily understandable controls, enjoyable, yet incredibly challenging gameplay, cute visual style, sound effects are solid, animations are ridiculously funny, leaderboards and level editor provide endless amount of replayability.
The Bad: Sometimes the environment can be a little bit overwhelming to play through, other than that, nothing.
Final Demo Verdict: Anybody looking for a nostalgic blast from the past should check out Cloudberry Kingdom, enough said.
