Nintendo Download of the Week: King of the Jungle, or factory?

It’s that time once again for us to check out what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. After taking a look at everything on tap for today, all I have to say is meh. Seriously, aside from a couple of classic games, there is nothing worth checking out here at all. Let’s see if anything actually made the cut, shall we?

Donkey Kong TQ

Without question, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Donkey Kong for the Wii U VC Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download on July 15th for $4.99. The reason why I chose this one above the rest was because it was one of the first games I ever played, and it is still a classic experience to me to this very day. Anybody who feels the same way I do should download this title as soon as it comes out.

Not up for jumping over barrels, don’t worry, there is still one new Wii U Download title, one new Wii U VC title, one new Wii U retail download title, one new 3DS VC title, and two new 3DS Download title for you to check out. Remember to use the force (you knew I was going to say that) when playing Star Wars Pinball. See where Samus’s journey began in Metroid. Feel the need for speed, snail style, in Turbo: Super Stunt Squad. Relive one of the beloved plumbers strangest adventures ever when playing Super Mario Bros. 2. Save the world from impending doom in Shin Megami Tensei IV (available July 16th). Finally, the other 3DS game is Turbo Super Stunt Squad.

One more thing, if you register both Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem Awakening through Club Nintendo before August 31st, you will receive $30 credit for the Nintendo eShop. For more details on this promotion, visit

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, Wii, and Wii U eShop Channels right now, have fun!
