It’s time to get those taste buds going once again in another installment of This Is How We Eat. If you are unfamiliar with what’s going on here, please refer to our previous articles for more information. Pizza places are just as common as Wal-Mart’s nowadays, you literally see one on almost every street corner. Honestly, almost every one of them doesn’t really offer much in the way of variety to make themselves special among their competitors. Recently though, I found a place that at the very least offers something rarely seen in restaurants anymore, great customer service, and it goes by the name of 3 Brothers Pizza.
Established over 60 years ago, this delightful little Italian diner, now with a location in Middleburg Heights, Ohio, offers a variety of delicious entrees at reasonable prices. My girlfriend and I have tried a number of different dishes so far, and our favorites are the Chicken Bacon Ranch Melt ($9, $10 with fries), and the Souvlaki Sandwich (pork sandwich for $8). Now I know those prices seem a little bit on the pricey side for sandwiches, but trust me, the mere size of these monstrosities will take you more than one time to get through them. Sadly though, this is where the journey ends, because after we finish any meal from here, dessert is basically out of the question.
The only complaint I have with place is that it took a long time for me to get my food, around 20 minutes or so, without anybody there. Other than that though, I can’t really find anything to complain about whatsoever. In fact, the service I received there was exceptional, and the owner even offered me a free drink, and a slice of a new pizza that were trying out while I waited for my meal to come out. Now despite the fact that the place has only been open for a short while, if they can keep up this kind of attitude with their customers, there is no doubt in my mind that they will be sticking around my neighborhood for many years to come.
If you happen to take a trip to Ohio, stop by 3 Brothers Pizza, you will not be disappointed.
