Nintendo Download of the Week: 4/4 Edition

Welcome to another installment of what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. Owners of all of the major consoles are in for a treat today because there is a little something for everybody this time around. This is also the first occasion in which I’m not going to consider any of the other titles for the simple reason of nothing else here even comes close to the awesomeness of what has hit the Wii U eShop today. Let’s take some time now to see what peaked my interest, shall we?

Toki Tori 2 TQ 2

Without question, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Toki Tori 2 for the Wii U Download Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and is currently available for download through the Wii U eShop at the asking price of $13.49 ($14.99 after April 25th). The reason why this one made the cut was simple, I played the game at Pax East this year, and had an enjoyable experience with it. If any of you are interested in an exciting platformer slash puzzler, then by all means download this title right now.

Not up for spreading those wings and flying away, don’t worry, there are still two new 3DS Download titles, one new 3DS VC title, an update for a 3DS Download title, a newly discounted 3DS Download title, some new 3DS DLC, and one new Wii VC title for you to check out. Show people what being a hero really means when playing Real Heroes Firefighter 3D. Dance your heart out, Haunted Mansion style, in Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove 3D. See how this popular franchise made a name for itself when playing Castlevania. The new update, available on April 5th, is for the game Colors! 3D.

As usual, one paragraph won’t do, so here we go. Your newly discounted 3DS game is escapeVektor, and will be available for $4.99 until April 18th. The new dlc for the 3DS includes four new dungeons for Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity, and they are called Ivy Park ($2) , Scalchop Beach ($2), Kecleon Bazaar ($2.50),  and Ultimate Wilds ($3.50). Go on a shooting rampage, without hurting anybody in the real world, in NAM-1975.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, Wii, and Wii U Shop Channels right now, have fun!

Here is a trailer that I found for the game, enjoy!
