Just played the demo for Injustice: Gods Among Us Recently, and for a fighting game, it’s not that bad. The demo itself is around 459 MB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live (Gold Members only). So what did I think of it? Well, I’m not much of a fan when it comes to this genre, but the time I spent with this one was rather enjoyable for the most part. Let’s take a moment to go over the highs and low of my experience with this one, shall we?
The Good: Interactive Backgrounds are fun to play around with, finishing moves are as exciting to watch as they are to pull off, controls are easy to understand. Presentation, character and environmental wise, is simply beautiful. There are three different characters to choose from, local versus mode is playable as well.
The Bad: I didn’t notice much of a difference between difficulty levels, no online play in the demo was disappointing, combat does get repetitive rather quickly (that’s pretty obvious though, right?), and it only took me about 5 minutes or so to complete the entire thing.
Final Demo Verdict: Fans of fighting games and comic book characters will find plenty to enjoy here, an easy unlock, enough said.
Still not convinced, maybe this trailer will help change your mind, enjoy!
