LOL. That’s me laughing out loud at the fact that Nintendo appears to be trying their best to move Wii U units right before the PlayStation conference. Look, I’m no fan boy of any console, but I’m aware of the business. What Nintendo is showing off right now is not cutting it — plain and simple. It’s quite annoying to see Nintendo threading water at this stage of the Wii U’s life cycle. Wow, did I just say “life cycle”. Yeah, they need a miracle…But hey, I’m man enough to admit that if in a year or two if Nintendo offers something worth going crazy for, I will be grateful. Until then, may the video gaming angels of God be with them. And please, don’t get me wrong, ZombiU is a fantastic game — check our review here. But The momentum is dying is rapid speeds for Nintendo.
For those interested in this bundle. Nintendo will release a new Wii U Deluxe bundle featuring ZombiU, a black Pro Controller, a collectible art and developer commentary booklet, and a downloadable version of Nintendo Land on February 17 for $389.99 in the U.S. and Canada, it has announced.
Consumers who purchase the bundle will be enrolled in the “Digital Deluxe Promotion,” a program that allows Wii U owners to receive 10 percent back in points for each download they purchase in the Nintendo eShop.
