Nintendo Download of the Week: 1/17 Edition

Welcome to another installment of what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. Today is a day for portable gamers, because almost everything on offer here is for the 3DS. Sadly, Wii U owners receive nothing new to try out, but adopters of the big N’s first motion controlled system will have a new video app to take apart in, so that’s a good thing. Let’s see what made the cut, shall we?

Crash Mobs TQ

My pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Tokyo Crash Mobs for the 3DS Download Service.  It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and is currently available for download through the eShop at the asking price of $5.99. The reason why I picked this one above the rest was because it reminds of me a  very fun puzzle game I  used to play back in the day called Zuma, . If you enjoy games like these then by all means download this title right now.

Not interested in matching colors together, don’t worry, there is still one new 3DS VC title, one new 3DS Demo, two new 3DS Retail Downloads, and one new Wii App for you to check out. See what happens when two popular franchises combine together to form a familiar puzzler in Kirby’s Star Stacker. Get a brief taste of what adventures await you in the latest entry into Nintendo’s popular RPG series when playing the Fire Emblem: Awakening Demo. Go on an underwater adventure with everybody’s favorite fish in Disney/Pixar Finding Nemo: Escape to the Big Blue. Become a big game hunter in Deer Drive Legends.

Finally, Wii owners will have yet another way to watch videos on their system with the Amazon Instant Video App.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, Wii, and Wii U Shop Channels right now, have fun!
