It’s that time once again for another installment of Monday Savings For The Everyday Gamer. If you are unsure about what’s going on here, please refer to previous articles for more information. Today we are going to venture into the world of mobile gaming and take a look at something that offers a challenging experience at a very reasonable price. Let’s move to find out exactly what I’m talking about, shall we?
The third title in our collection is a free app for Android, and Apple related devices that goes by the name of Cordy Sky. You are a cute little character with a tv helmet for a head, and the idea is to move from the bottom to the top of the stage without dying. Along the way, a number of different enemies and obstacles will appear to try to prevent this from happening. Sounds like a simple survival title right? Well, while the idea is simple, the gameplay is as challenging as ever, so patience will be the key to victory here.
As usual, let’s get the bad things out of the way first, which won’t take much time at all. The only problem that I have here is that my hand got tired after completing a stage, but that has more to do with my own personal skills, and not really the control setup as a whole. Aside from this, I can’t really think of anything else to complain about whatsoever.
Now on to the good. Controls are solid for the most part, the touch screen commands are very responsive, and there is never really a delay between performing individual actions at all. The visual style is simplistic, but full of lively animations to keep players entertained throughout the entire experience. Finally, as with every other game in the collection up to this point, it’s free, so people on a tight budget will have nothing to complain about as far as price is concerned.
If you are looking for an entertaining, unusual, and very challenging title on the go, look no further, Cordy Sky offers all of these things, and so much more, download it now.
