Nintendo Download of the Week: 12/13 Edition

It’s that time once again for another installment of what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. I have to be honest with everybody here, doing these updates week after week is becoming very difficult to do, especially when developers throw out so many titles  at a time, it literally makes my head spin. This works out in a positive way for all of you though because there is a little something for everybody here. Let’s see if there is a gem in here that stands out above the rest, shall we?

After some careful consider, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Ninja Gaiden for the 3DS VC Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download through the Nintendo eShop at the asking price of  $4.99. The reason why this one made the cut was because it is a fun, but very challenging memory from my gaming past, and is still something I cannot complete to this very day. If you are in the same situation as I am then by all means download this title as soon as it becomes available.

Not up for being a ninja master, don’t worry, there are still two new 3DS Download titles, one new 3DS Demo, one new 3DS Retail Download, one new Wii U Retail Download, two new Wii U Demos, three new DSiWare titles, one new Wii VC title, and one new Nintendo Video available for download. Go on a journey for a magical gift in Crimson Shroud. Become a professional gardener, with actually using any gardening tools, when playing Gardenscapes.  Try to be as careful as possible when checking out the Art of Balance TOUCH! Demo. The name speaks for itself, but be sure to give Adventure Time: Hey Ice King? Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?! a chance anyways. See what the dark knight can do with a new tool at his disposal (the Gamepad) in Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition.

As usual, one paragraph will not be enough to cover everything, so here we go. See what trouble this platforming legend( no pun intended) has gotten himself into now when playing the Rayman Legends Demo. See how kart racing works when everyone’s favorite blue hedgehog is at the wheel in the Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed Demo. Become a master composer on the go in Rytmik World Music. See what happens when Skateboarding meets Zombie Invasion in Zombie Skape. Help save the world from Pizza thieves when playing Chuck E. Cheese’s Alien Defense Force. Become a true warrior, by beating up as many people as possible, in REAL BOUT FATAL FURY. Finally, the Nintendo Video (available on Dec 16th) is a comedic short entitled Meat or Die: Linda.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels right now. Have fun!

P.S.- The image above is from the Wii version of Ninja Gaiden, just felt like the 3DS pictures were too small.
