Nintendo Download of the Week: 11/15 Edition

NDOTW_TQ

Welcome to another installment of what’s new in the world of Nintendo Downloads. Today marks the last update for digital shops before the Wii U hits store shelves, and the offerings to celebrate this occasion could have been better, but they are ok for the most part. Unless you are too lazy to go to a store to buy a game there is not a whole lot of new actual digital releases to talk about. Is this a bad thing though? No, sometimes less is more. Let’s take some time now to find out if that statement holds water, shall we?

After giving it some thought, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is Jump Trials for the DSiWare Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download through both the eShop and Nintendo DSI Shop Channels at the asking price of  200 DSI Points ($1.99 in eShop). The reason why I chose this one instead of the others is because I love challenging platforming games that really put skills to the test. If you feel the same way I do then by all means download this title as soon as it becomes available.

Not up for taking a leap of faith, don’t worry, there is still one new 3DS Download, four new 3DS Retail Downloads, one new DSiWare title, and one new Nintendo Video for you to check out, Show those creatures from another planet who’s boss in Monster Shooter. Help everyone’s favorite cartoon mouse save the world in Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion (available Nov. 18th). See how fun a hotel full of halloween monsters can be in Hotel Translvania. Unravel the mystery of a very strange world when playing Myst.

Once again we have an overload of new releases, so let’s go over the rest of them right now. Put those critical thinking skills to the test in American Mensa Academy. Save a construction site from destruction ( i know a rhyme, lame) in Working Dawgs: A-Maze-Ing Pipes.  Give thanks, dinosaur style, in the latest Nintendo Video entitled Dinosaur Office: Thanksgiving Special!.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels right now. Have fun!
