Got a chance to check out the demo for Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two recently, and it was pretty much what I expected, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The demo itself is around 1.13 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So what did I think of it? Well, while there were a few problems here and there, this was still an enjoyable experience for the most part. Let’s take some time now to go over the highs and lows of my time with the game, shall we?
The Good: Camera works for the most part, voice acting is funny and engaging, cooperative moves add a fresh twist to the overall gameplay mechanics, controls are pretty easy to understand, and you are able to play through the demo with a friend.
The Bad: Judging distances for jumps can be a bit problematic at times, sometimes co-op moves don’t work as well as they should, other than that, nothing.
Final Demo Verdict: Aside from a couple of issues, this is without a doubt still worth checking out for fans of the franchise, buy it now.
