Unlock or Delete: Hybrid Trial Version (XBLA)

Just got a chance to check out the trial version of the latest Summer of Arcade title Hybrid recently, and in all honesty I had a whole lot of fun playing it. The trial version is around 1.59 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So how was it? Well, even though things got repetitive after a while, what was on offer was very enjoyable to say the least. Let’s take some time now to go over the highs and lows of my experience, shall we?

The Good: Gameplay is extremely fun and addictive, there are a number of different modes to play, the frame rate  is consistent for the most part, you are allotted an hour of playtime in the demo, and a leveling system, unlockable weapons and armor, and leaderboards add almost  an endless amount of replay value to each playthrough as well.

The Bad: Almost every level looks the same as the last, matchmaking can be a little troublesome at times, and after a few matches repetition will set in, which could possibly cause some people to lose interest and stop playing altogether.

Final Demo Verdict: Anybody looking to let out some aggression in a positive way should definitely give this game a shot, download it now.
