Sorry about not doing every game in the Summer of Arcade promotion for this series but not having a kinect device kind of prevents that from happening. That being said, I did get the chance to check out the trial version of Deadlight recently, and I had a great time with it. The trial version is around 1.96 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So how was it? Well, despite a minor glitch or two here and there, this is without a doubt one of the most unique downloadable titles that I have ever played. Let’s take some time now and go over a few highlights, shall we?

The Good: The visual style is absolutely stunning, controls are pretty straightforward and easy to understand, the story seems like it’s going to be interesting, an underlying feeling of suspense keeps things from getting stale, and the audio presentation is extremely immersive as well.

The Bad: Sometimes the jumping mechanic can glitch out and cause some unfair deaths, other than that, nothing.

Final Demo Verdict: I cannot wait to see how the rest of this adventure turns out, and if you feel the same way I do then you should definitely consider downloading the game as soon as possible.
