Got the chance to check out the first demo for PES 2013 on Xbox Live the other day, and it was actually a very enjoyable experience. The demo itself is around 1.19 GB or so, and is currently available for download on Xbox Live. So was the demo enyojable? Well, despite not being much of a soccer fan I have to say that what’s on offer here is quite entertaining, and very well polished to say the least. Let’s take some time now to go over some of the high and low points of my experience, shall we?
The Good: Controls are solid, gameplay is fun and addictive, you are allowed to play through a full match instead of just half of one. Character animations are very fluent for a sports title, there are a number of different teams to choose from, and the visuals are just downright stunning.
The Bad: Not a whole lot to say here other than there are some frame rate hiccups here and there, other than that, nothing.
Final Demo Verdict: Even though this sport is boring to me, fans of soccer may find something worthwhile here, so go ahead and give the game a shot, you won’t be disappointed.
