One of the most anticipated PlayStation Vita titles (Gravity Rush) finally makes its way to the U.S. But did the demo do the retail game more harm than good? Let’s take a look.
- The art style in Gravity Rush looks incredible on the PlayStation Vita, there is even a bit of 3D trickery is some of the cut scenes.
- You will easily fall in love with the characters. (Even the enemies looked cute)
- Incredibly mysterious.
- The controls are easy to learn, but can be a bit confusing during battle. (Floating kick seems to have a harder learning curve. Than the rest)
- Very Short Demo. (I mean really short)
Final Demo Verdict: For those who have been patiently waiting for the game, knowing that you will buy this, I recommend you stay away from the demo. Out of all the demos I’ve played in my lifetime, I have to say that this one ranks up there as one of the shortest and less complementing demo for any game, if what we hear about the retail copy is true. With that said, the shortness of the demo is also a positive – it kept me curiously intrigued, wanting to learn more about the game. This was definitely a huge tease to what may be a great title. I love being teased, it just makes everything more intense and enjoyable when you finally experience the real thing.
