This Is How We Eat: Pizza Bogo

Pizza Bogo TQ

It’s time to get those taste buds going once again with another installment of a segment we like to call This Is How We Eat. If you are unfamiliar with what’s going on here, please refer to our previous articles for more information. One of my favorite types of food that I have loved since childhood is Pizza. Today we are going to take a look at a place that takes this beloved pastime, and puts a little spin on it in a very interesting way, Pizza Bogo.

Now to be perfectly honest with you, I couldn’t find any history on this place whatsoever, but here’s a little background story on my first experience there just for the fun of it . A couple of years back my girlfriend and myself were looking for something to eat, and she suggested this place in which you could buy one pizza and get the other one for free called Pizza Bogo. Never willing to pass up a great deal, I decided to give it a shot. We ordered the Hawaiian (cheese, pineapple, ham, bacon, and fresh mango), and the Bangkok (peanut chili sauce, basil, cheese, red peppers, shrimp, chow mein noodles, chicken breast, and scallions), and after just one bite, i knew that this was something truly special.

The only real issue I have with the restaraunt is the fact that it really isn’t one at all. This is basically a take-out establishment where an order is placed, the person picks it up within a certain time period, and then takes their food home, that’s it. Now while this may be convenient for people who like to eat on the go, others may be against the idea of not being able to sit down and enjoy their meal. That being said, the prices are actually pretty reasonable. Two large pizzas, which consist of around 8 slices a piece, will only cost about $20 or so. So if you don’t have a lot of money, and are looking for something to eat, this may be a place you should consider checking out.

If any of you ever decided to head up to Ohio, be sure to stop by one of their 4 locations here and try it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Also, if there are any other places that you think we might like to check out, please let us know in the comments below.
