Nintendo Download of the Week: 4/19 Edition

NDOTW_TQ

Welcome to another short but sweet installment of what’s new in the world of Nintendo downloads. Even though there are only two games to talk about, each one of them seems like they would be worth your money. That being said, having nothing come out on the Wii for two weeks in a row is definitely a bitter pill to swallow. Let’s just hope this trend doesn’t continue next week too, because going a long time without a new console experience is something that I’m just not prepared for.

Personal feelings aside, it’s time to find out which one of these titles made the cut. My pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is I Must Run! for the DSiWare service. It has an ESRB rating of T for Teen, and will be available for download through the Nintendo eShop and DSi Shop Channel at the asking price of 200 DSi points ($1.99 in eShop). The reason why this title caught my attention was because it reminds me a lot of the game Bit Trip Runner (which was my favorite installment in the Bit Trip series), and if that same experience can be recreated in portable form, well, then I would definitely consider checking it out .

For those of you who are not interested in running for your life, don’t worry, there is still one new 3DS Download title, one new 3DS Demo, and one new Nintendo Video available for download. Help Pit become the warrior he was meant to be in 3D Classics: Kid Icarus. Try to solve the puzzling mysteries of an ancient civilization when playing the Pyramids demo. Last, but certainly not least, your new Nintendo Video is the Season 2 premiere of a series entitled Dinosaur Office (which won’t be available until tomorrow).

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels very soon. Have fun
