Nintendo Download of the Week: 3/29 Edition

NDOTW_TQ

It’s that time once again to see what’s new in the world of Nintendo downloads. Short but sweet seems to be the recurring theme recently, as there are only two new titles to talk about. As usual, the offerings are less than exciting, and really don’t include anything worth mentioning at all. Maybe these developers tried to pull an early April Fool’s joke on us or something, who knows? If this is the case, then all I can say is please god give us something worth playing soon or else I’m going to give up on checking out these digital platforms altogether, because it’s just starting to get downright pathetic.

Despite all of my issues, a choice has to be made, so let’s find out who made the cut. My pick for Nintendo Download of the Week is 90s Pool for the DSiWare Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone and will be available for download through the DSi Shop and Nintendo eShop at the asking price of 200 DSi Points ($1.99 in eShop). I chose this one above the rest because I am a fan of pool and usually don’t get the chance to go out to a real pool hall to play it, so this could wind up being a nice alternative for me.

Anybody out there who is not interested in becoming a pool shark will still have one new 3DS Download title, one new 3DS Demo, one new WiiWare demo, and a new Nintendo Video to check out. Take your team all the way to the world cup in Arc Style: Soccer!! 3D. Find out what happens when natural resources and mutants collide in the Mutant Mudds demo. Be sure to keep an eye for socks at all times when playing the 2 Fast 4 Gnomz demo. Finally, your new Nintendo Video is a musical performance by the band Ok Go entitled Skyscrapers.

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels very soon. Have fun!
