My visit to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium

Now normally my hometown of Cleveland, OH doesn’t come out with too many new places to visit, so when one just pops up out of nowhere, I definitely have to check it out. This new attraction is called the Greater Cleveland Aquarium, and while it may sound boring to some of you, I found it to be a fun and enjoyable experience for kids and adults alike. The atmosphere is nice, the staff is knowledgeable and very helpful when you want to learn more information about each new creature, and the overall layout is simple and easy to navigate.

Admission prices aren’t too bad either, just be sure to use a little common sense beforehand in order to get the best deal.

Here is how the prices work:

Adult- $21.95

Children (ages 2-12)- $15.95

Annual pass for 1 Adult- $50

Couples Annual Pass- $90

Family of 4 Annual Pass-$130

While some of that may look outrageous to you, remember one thing, the annual passes only have to be purchased once a year, and you can use them as often as you like. So, in retrospect, these things kind of pay themselves off after a couple of visits anyway.

My girlfriend and I went there recently, and we had a great time together, check out some of the pictures we took from our first visit in the gallery below, enjoy!

  • I love aquariums. I once owned an unhatched Shark. It never hatched. My water wasn’t good enough for it.
