After reading a number of different reviews saying that AMY was one of the worst video games ever made, I knew that I had to immediately download the trial version (which is about 1GB or so on PSN and XBLA) of the game just to see how bad it really was. So, how did everything turn out? Well, to be perfectly honest with all of you, my experience with it wasn’t really all that bad. That being said, there were still a number of noticeable problems here that turned what could have been an interesting and exciting idea into a frustrating fight against poorly executed concepts.
The Good: The gameplay mechanics were quite interesting, some of the dialogue was humorous at times.
The Bad: The trial was short (around 15 minutes or so), and ended in such an abrupt way that I really didn’t care about what was going to happen next.
The Ugly: Graphics look downright ugly, the controls are terrible, and oh my goodness was the lip synching absolutely atrocious.
Final Demo Verdict: Not worth a nickel, delete it and move on with your life.
Just in case you were wondering, the trial version I played was from the XBLA.
