You know what? I seriously think that 2012 is the year of “Kojima productions.” Hideo Kojima has started the year with some serious statements. The most recent one comes via The Official PlayStation Magazine UK, where Hideo hints on several other projects his team will be working on alongside the open world, FOX Engine-based game, Ogre. Here is what Hideo told the Official PlayStation Magazine UK:
“I can’t really say too much about that project yet, but it’s a very subdued experience – it’s a little bit different to what I’ve done up until now,” he says. “On the surface it will look similar, but once you get into it, it will be a different experience – and I’m hoping people look forward to that. But the Ogre project is going to take a lot of time, so I want to produce some other things on the side, like I’m doing with Rising. So while I’m working on Ogre there might be a couple of other projects going on at the same time.”
What do you all think? Zone of Enders? Or some exclusive Vita games? Also, consider this: Kojima Productions worked alongside Mercury Steam on 2010′s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, and with recent teases from producer Dave Cox, perhaps Lords of Shadow 2 is one of the projects Kojima is referring to.
