Nintendo Download of the Week: 12/08 Edition

This installment of Nintendo downloads is actually pretty decent, not great, but definitely a step up from last time. The Wii finally receives more than just one new game, and handheld gamers (preferrably those who own a 3DS) have  the chance to play something that is bound to become an instant classic for sure. As usual, only one can be chosen, so let’s find out what made the cut, shall we? Anyways, here it is, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week for December 8th, 2011.

My pick for this week is going to have to go to Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder for the WiiWare service. It has an ESRB rating of T for Teen, and will be available for download soon, through the Wii Shop Channel, at the asking price of 500 Wii points. The reason why I picked this one above the rest was because the IPhone iteration of it (Crap of Defense) was alot of fun, and is definitely one of my favorite tower defense games ever made. Anybody who feels the same way I do should go ahead and download this game as soon as it becomes available. If blowing up pieces of paper isn’t your thing, then go ahead and check out the demo for Motoheroz.

As far as our portable gamers go, you have one new 3DS Downloadable game, along with two new DSiWare games, and even a new Nintendo Video to check out. Push through to the end in Pushmo. Save yet another kingdom from impending doom in Castle Conqueror: Against. Become a human dictionary when playing Word Searcher 4. Our new Nintendo Video comes from a group called Foster the People, and it’s called Don’t Stop (Color on the Walls).

All this and more can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels very soon. Have fun!
