Nintendo Download of the Week: 10/20

Just seems as if there is less and less to talk about as the weeks go by for Nintendo download, as the offering this time around is about as skimpy as it gets. There are only three new games, and one new video to check out, so as you may have already guessed, picking a favorite has become even more of a difficult thing to do. Still, something in here might be worth playing, so let’s go ahead and find out shall we? Here it is, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week for October 20th, 2011.

My pick for this week is going to have to go to Fish Tank for the WiiWare service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download soon, through the Wii Shop Channel, at the asking price of 500 Wii points. The reason why I choose this one above the rest was because I played a version of it for IPhone not too long ago, and had alot of fun with it. Just wonder how motion controls are going to affect the gameplay, especially considering the fact that the original was based off of that devices touch screen functionality, but more than likely, things will work out just fine. Anybody who has had a prior experience with this game, or has a thing for match four puzzlers should go ahead and download this one as soon as it becomes available.

Those looking for some gaming on the go will have one new 3DS VC title, one new DSiWare title, and a collection of halloween videos to check out. Help Billy and Jimmy clean up the streets, by beating the you know what out of some thugs in Double Dragon. Protect your island from being invaded by the evil empire in Castle Conqueror. Get ready for some Halloween fun by checking out a new collection of videos from Dreamworks entitled the DreamWorks Animation Halloween Collection (set includes The Pig Who Cried WerewolfNight of the Living Carrots, and a surprise video).

All of this, and more, will be available in the eShop, DSi Shop, and Wii Shop Channels very soon, have fun!

P.S.- The Nintendo Video Collection I mentioned above is for 3DS users only, and each video will cost you $1.99 to download.
