Aside from being a fan of video games and movies, something I have truly loved all of my life is stand up comedy. It’s one of the few places left where a person can really be themselves, and share their opinions with the rest of the world. While there are alot of comedians I enjoy watching, there is a certain person in particular that makes me laugh on a consistent basis, and his name is Jeff Dunham. For those of you who don’t him, he is a ventriloquist who has been touring the world for some time now, showing off the many different characters he has created, to fans all across the world. His recent special, Controlled Chaos, just aired on Comedy Central tonight, and let’s just say that things only get better with age.
What I like so much about this guys act is how into it he gets, and what I mean by this is that the interactions between himself, and each dummy are so organic and realistic that you tend to sometimes forget that it’s all an act. Controlled Chaos has not changed my feelings on this whatsoever. As expected, the original gangs all here, Walter, Peanut, Achmed, Jose’, and they are as funny as ever. A couple of new characters make their way into the fray as well, and they are Achmeds son, Achmed Junior, and a miniature form of Jeff ,who goes by the name of Little Jeff. Sometimes introducing new characters is a tricky thing, but they were brought into the fray in such a way (hey that rhymed) that I actually started to feel like they were a part of this dysfunctional family as well.
To sum things up, I had a great time watching this special, and I would definitely recommend checking out Controlled Chaos when it hits store shelves this Tuesday, the 27th of September, on both DVD and Blu-Ray. Be sure to look out for a review of this product very soon, right here at tqcast.com.
