Nintendo Download of the Week: 9/8 Edition

There’s not much to talk about as far this latest installment of Nintendo downloads goes, and what is available just doesn’t seem all that interesting. Not sure how many people are  actually going to pay for a game that looks like an application that you can download on your computer for free, but who knows, stranger things have happened. Picking a favorite will be a hard thing to do, because in all honesty, nothing looks like it would be that much for to play for a prolonged period of time. Nevertheless, here it is, my pick for Nintendo Download of the Week for September 8th, 2011.

My pic for this week is going to have to go to Paint Splash for the Wiiware Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download soon, through the Wii Shop Channel, at the asking price of 500 Wii Points. The reason why I choose this one above the rest was because I thought that this could be the kind of game that parents could use to give their kids a chance to be as creative as they wanted to be, and not make a mess out of their own home in the process. Anybody who feels the same way should not hesitate to download this game as soon as it becomes available. If art isn’t your strong suit, then by all means explore the possibilities of light by checking out the Liight Demo.

Those looking for something on the go will have one new 3DS VC title, and two new DSiWare titles to check out. Try to stay under par when playing Golf.  Obeying traffic laws is just not a possibility when it comes to DotMan. Oh look, another puzzle game has arrived in the form of Puzzle Rocks, not really a shocking bit of news, is it?

All of this, and more, can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels very soon, have fun!
