Late Night Gamer: 2003 TMNT

Hey whats up TQfam?, it’s been awhile since you have seen a post from me, and there is a good reason for it. I have been trying to get my hands on the complete set of DVDs for the 2003 TMNT series, and they are very hard to come by to say the least. Even though my collection isn’t complete yet, I did manage to watch the first season in it’s entirety, and while this show may not even be nearly as memorable as the 1987 cartoon was, the storytelling, and insight into each individual characters personality definitely brought me into their world in a way I never thought possible.

Let’s be fair about this though, comparing these shows is like choosing between your two favorite types of food. One is just as good as the other, and whatever decision we decide to make, a certain level of satisfaction won’t be that far behind. The best part about this whole thing is that the franchise has been around for over 25 years now, and it has produced a wide spectrum of fans that can share their memories together for years to come. Remember this,  just because something is presented in a new way that you’re not used to, don’t dismiss it so quickly, because you may just miss out on a worthwhile experience in the long run.

So, are you a fan of the turtles?, and if so, which show was your favorite and why?. Let us know in the comments below.

  • I loved the old school 80’s turtles. I had the action figures, video games and never missed a show. I even suffered through the original movie.

favorite turtle is Donatello because he is the brains.
