Nintendo Download of the Week: 8/04 Edition

Well, get ready for this, I may not be picking any game this time around, because from the looks of it, they will all suck in some way shape or form. Wii owners get stuck with yet another experience that isn’t original at all, and unless handheld gamers are up for a game of fetch, picross, or are in desperate need of taking spanish lessions, then they might be SOL as well. Maybe my criticism is a little bit too harsh, because there may be something worth playing in this mess, but I doubt it. Either way here it is, my pic for Nintendo Download of the Week for August 4th, 2011.

After careful consideration, my pic for this week is going to have to go to Monochrome Racing for the WiiWare Service. It has an ESRB rating of E for Everyone, and will be available for download soon, through the Wii Shop Channel, at the asking price of 500 Wii Points. The reason why I chose this game in particular was because in all honesty it looked like the only game that would be any fun to play at all. If you agree with me, then by all means go ahead and download this one as soon as it becomes available.

Our handheld friends out there will have one new 3DS VC title, three new DSiWare games, and one new video to check out. Try to create some pictures with numbers in Mario’s Picross. Lead a gun crazy military group to yet another victory by checking out B Team – Episode 2: Ice and Venom. Since I never took any language classes in high school, Play & Learn Spanish could be a good way for me to expand my vocabulary. Apparently, one round of this popular game with a dog wasn’t enough, so Go Fetch! 2  just had to be made. Apparently, having Pizza delivered isn’t good enough anymore, so people have to go a quest for them now in the new video Pizza Quest.

All of this, and more, can be found in the eShop, DSi, and Wii Shop Channels very soon, have fun!

P.S.- The video I mentioned above is for 3DS owners who have the Nintendo Video app on their system.

Update: I forgot to mention that a WiiWare demo for Jam City Rollergirls was released onto the Wii Shop Channel today as well, sorry everybody.
