iPad Beats Gaming Consoles as Most Desired Electronic This Holiday


This news should come of no surprise considering that over 3 million iPads sold in only 3 months of its release. The iPad is the new trend, if your grandma wants an iPad, then you know the product is a hit. But what about the kids’ holiday wishes? Gaming consoles are sure to beat the iPad as most desired among kids, right? Wrong!

According to a research by The Nielson Company the iPad is the most desired electronic device by kids ages 6-12 this holiday season, clearly beating all gaming consoles. In case you were wondering what came right after the iPad as most desired electronic this holiday season, here you go:

For kids over 13, the list changed a bit, but still kept the iPad in the top 5. While, the Nintendo brand was the first gaming console/handheld of choice after the iPad on both age groups.
