With Apple’s “Back to the Mac” event set to go on tomorrow, many rumors and predictions have gone on the web. Now that may be interesting to read and all, but we really want to hear from the TQcast Family, what are your predictions for Apple’s big even tomorrow? If you care to read, below you will find a list of my predictions:
New MacBook Air – It’s definitely time to revisit the only laptop in the world that can fit in a manila folder. A picture which many claim is the new MacBook Air leaked earlier this week and as you may know, history tell us when an Apple product has leaked, it’s usually true. They need to upgrade this puppy with a CD player (if it fits), bigger hard drive space, more memory, a faster CPU, and of course the new sexy look that Apple gives to their products.
New Operating System – The picture above was sent as an invitation to tomorrows Apple event, which displays a lion behind a Apple logo cut out. It’s only fair to say the new OS will be called Lion? Hopefully they add a new application that allows Apple laptops to video chat with iPhone and iPod Touch users,or how about something that moves Mac forward in the Gaming world (i.e. Game Center), or maybe a new user interface. Apple has had their user interface and style for a while now, how about a whole new redesign? or what about a… “Touch Screen” ?
iLife – GarageBand and iMovie need some updating, I think it’s about time they introduce the new version of iLife.
iMac Update – It may sound crazy as they just updated the iMac’s with i3’s but the recent touch screen patent Apple acquired leads me to believe a new Touch iMac will be announced.
With that said, make sure to check back with us for whatever it is that Apple will announce tomorrow. The event is set for Wednesday, October 20, 2010 – 10am PST. If Apple decides to live stream the event, we’ll update this post.
APPLE HAS IN FACT DECIDED TO STREAM THE EVEN LIVE! JUST LIKE LAST TIME, THE STREAM IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR APPLE DEVICES. CHECK BACK HERE AT 10AM PST.
It seems like Apple beat everyone to the punch and leaked details for today’s event. The pictures below were found in Apple’s Discussion part of their website. Since people have been blogging about it, Apple has pulled down that discussion board. At least we know I was right about a new version of iLife and a MacBook Air update! Now we just have to wait until 10am PST to hear it from the man himself, Steve Jobs.
In addition to the above, the new 11 inch MacBook Air has also been detailed to Engadget from one of their trusted sources.
Hopefully these updates comes with a great price as well!
