Today’s news of Gran Turismo 5’s being delayed yet again, sort of came in through one ear and out the other rather quickly. The game that has been in the works for years and the most anticipated game in history according to Sony, had a November 2 2010 release date, but now that date has clearly been dismissed and quite frankly it was expected. O-Games recently released a media alert, clearly taking shots at Gran Turismo 5 and its new delay and calling their game the biggest and most punctual racing game this year. Do they know something we don’t?
Check out the press release from O-Games, titled “Punctuality” lol..
“Superstars V8 Racing is one of the first full retail games to be exclusively released in a digital format on the PlayStation Network, and more importantly, it’s the biggest and most punctual racing game on the platform.”
These catz are definitely playing with fire, but maybe they know something we don’t. Could it be that O-Games knows that GT5 may be pushed back till January? January 1st is still considered the Holiday season right? O-Games definitely wants to make it clear that their date of release still stands, despite GT5’s latest delay. I have to admit, the O-Games promotional scheme is working, so I hope they bring i with Superstars V8 Racing. Superstars V8 Racing is still scheduled for October 26th 2010, exclusively on PlayStation Network for only $19.99
