PSP2 is not only Real; PSP2 is Powerful and Currently in Developer’s Hands

Extra, Extra, read all about it! After all the rumors, and all the anticipation of an announcement of some sort for the PSP2 this year, the breaking news comes from Netherrealm Studios’ executive produce, Shaun Himmerick.

Industry Gamers, recently interviewed Shaun Himmerick, and while asking him about the possibilities of bringing Mortal Kombat reboot to PSP or 3DS, Himmerick replied, “We’re not launching day one on all consoles like that. We are looking at them; we have a PSP2 in the house and we’re looking at the engine, like what can it support.”

“PSP2 looks like it’s a pretty powerful machine. We don’t have a 3DS system in house yet, but we’re looking to get one” Himmerick added.

So, wait, did the TQfam catch this? They don’t have a 3DS in house, but they do have a PSP2 which we haven’t even seen actual images of the thing? Looks like gaming is the number one priority for Sony, unless it has already made it’s rounds through a cell phone company.

What does the TQfam think?
