Where’s the 4G (LTE) support? Guess you guys will have to wait until next year again.

  • Usual21

L1T1G4T0R? More like L1T1-H4T0R!! Iphone 4 rocks, dude!

  • I agree with Usual, iPhone 4G is strait up all I need.

  • Yeah I don’t see myself choosing 4G over all of the new iPhone features.

  • ochoas08

Dammmnnn I got the Droid incredible and I want this iPhone. It got sum krazy features.

  • Siggy

Probably going to buy this in July.

I’ll just leave you guys be. I can personally tell that my HTC Evo 4G blows is better and with my 4G Internet speeds of 5Mbps, this phone is way beyond the competition already.

It’s not hate. Apple screwed up by signing exclusivity and this phone is pure proof.

You can video chat only on WiFi. I can do it on 3G, 4G, and Wifi. I can also stream live from my phone without worrying about data caps.

720p video. Already doing that too. 8 Megapixel camera in the Evo. 4.3 inch touchscreen!

Physically the Evo is superior. Don’t even get me started on the “cloud” syncing Google already supports.

You think this iPhone is hot…go look up Google Goggles.

I’m glad you guys are happy with the phone. I just think once again, too many people are caught up in the hype of the iPhone. If you actually looked at the and the devices lined up for Verizon, you know this iPhone is a failure.

But just like the Xbox 360 fanboys, iTools will buy it. The PS3 was better and I’m telling you from experience, Android phones are already better than this device.

    *blows this phone way

BTW…I’d suggest HIGHLY that you go play with an Android device at one of the carrier stores before you put your money down on this phone. Hell…even look at a Windows Mobile device if you want to really be sure.

Sure it’s not my place to tell you how to spend your money, but it is a concern when the masses support horrible business models because something is “pretty.”

    • I messed with the Verizon Droid at work, and nothing close to the iPhone, maybe because I’m use to it. I will say that you are really hyping your new phone so much that I want to give it a try. Only Sprint huh? Never owned a Sprint phone. How’s your monthly rate like? You do 720p video? How are the apps, and app store?

      • 1) I only chose Sprint because of the 4G WiMax is all over my area otherwise I would wait and buy the next Evo like phone with Verizon.

        2) I pay $140 after taxes for 2 Evos with 1500 Minutes and Unlimited Data. I get Sprint TV, Sprint NFL, Sprint Navigation, and Sprint’s NASCAR stuff for no extra fee. I don’t pay for tethering because a simple root or several apps available on the web can fix that easy.)

        3) You basically have the same apps that you do on the iPhones. According to the latest stats, Android users use apps more than any other phones.

        – 3 Ways to get apps. Download them on your phone via the built in Android Marketplace.

        – Use doubleTwist (Android’s iTunes) to look through apps and scan the barcodes to install them on your phone.

        – Or you could go to several sites like Androlib.com or droidapps.com to scan your apps into your phone. This is how I acquired many apps and games free as opposed to paying.

        4) The Motorola Droid sucks. The keyboard is HORRIBLE. Most Motorola phone suck period.

I’d check out Androidcentral.com and listen to their podcast if you get a chance. They give you pros and cons on each device. They’re brutally honest too…unlike me. LoL.

        5) The 720p video on the iPhone will better out of the box though. You have to manually adjust the bitrate on HTC’s phones or install an app that does it for you.

        • One more thing…if you can get your hands on a Nexus 1, Evo, or Droid Incredible, I think you’ll see exactly why the Motorola Droid sucks.

    New iPhone FxxKING ROCKS HARD!!!!!
I love the new features, sure i been doing video calls on 3G network on nokias, motarolas and HTC phones for a few years and its been crap to say the least, Apple always have a way to make things work and very simple not a million menus and features that are pointless.

LIT!1GATOR, im not sure if its your model but i used the latest HTC phone at my local carrier, it looks like an Iphone and has a super smooth touch screen like the iphone also, but it stunk, the Windows platform is old and over menued, simple and easy is NOT the order of the day, IMO would not go any wear near a HTC/Windows phone again after using my 3GS, and the App store is the icing on an already sweet cake.
Bring on 4G software update for me and Bring on the 4G phone for future upgrade.

  • The new software upgrade for 3G will compete with 4G easily. The iPhone 4 is pretty crazy. I don’t agree with Litigator on that, the Evo might compete but everyone knows iPhone killed on this one. I will be pre-ordering for sure.

  • You guys are right. I’m just jealous.

HSPDA (Theoretically ) Starting 14.4 Max > May go up to 84 Mbps with added technology

WiMax (Also theoretically) Starting Max 128 Mbps

LTE (which AT&T is leaning towards …*theoretically) Starting Max 100 Mbps

But the speeds don’t really matter anyway because consumers in America are happy with what they’re given. If you enjoy the iPhone, you should get it and definitely stick to companies that offer the best service in your area. Hence why I choose Sprint over my beloved T-Mobile. LoL…I started at Verizon, moved to AT&T, then on to T-Mobile for 2 years, and now I’m on Sprint.

I’m just saying from my experience with all three operating systems, there’s highly comparable options.

  • Does Apple have any plans on selling these unlocked?
