TQcast E3 2009 Predictions

With E3 only days away, it is time to not only share our predictions, but we also want to hear what the TQfam is predicting for this E3. Share any of your predictions with us, whether the are Sony,Microsoft or Nintendo. Check out TQcast’s E3 predictions.
New Kojima project is not MGS5 it will be a game or movie that will built up the MGS5 game. Possibly a game/movie with Raiden rescuing Sunny but not named MGS5. Also Expect a MGS4 DLC update.
Blu-Ray and Video game packs will be announced at E3. The latest Spiderman movie just came out, guess what? Sony has included the video game on the same disk. It’s called taking advantage of 50gigs. It is Quite possible that the Kojima Project will be a combination of a movie and video game on one blu-ray.
In game chat, in game invites, Trophy cards, avatars, more home space will be part of a major update that will release while we are all at E3.
Sony will introduce a PS3 slim at a $299,99-349.00 price range
Sony will also introduce several PS3 bundles with a price tag of 349.99-399.99(some of the games included in the bundle will be Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, Infamous, and Killzone 2.
New PS3 Greatest Hit games will get announced: Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank Tool of Destruction, Heavenly Sword, Valkyria Chronicles, Pure.

Microsoft
They will focus on pushing their Xbox Live service. Honestly, it’s the ONLY thing they have better than the PS3 right now. They talk about the ZuneHD (which is utter crap because it still needs WiFi…no 3G modem), the new Zune Marketplace, Crackdown 2, Halo: ODST, and all the other games they think are blockbusters.
I am expecting lots of Xbox Live, NXE, and Arcade related stuff this year. They might even mention some “Cloud” server/computing dealing with Microsoft Mesh.
Sony
-New PSPGo…(still won’t support 3G which is a shame)
-They’ll talk about the Sony Ericcson Aino with Remote Play features and I think they’ll show us a few other devices like maybe the Sony Vaio P with the same capabilites and the XMB.
- Release major Firmware update granting a party system and cross platform voice chat among all devices with the XMB (I can talk to someone using their Aino while playing a game through my PS3)
- A slew of confirmed PSOne classics coming to the PSN
- I would love for Sony to make an annoucement saying they’ll be a Heavenly Sword 2 along with all the other blockbuster titles like God of War 3, MAG, and Uncharted 2
- Maybe we’ll see a presentation of Sony’s statistics recreated some how in DC Universe to help promote the title.
-Sony will reveal an actual purpose within HOME for the levels. I just think they’ll give us the main reason why they created them instead of some tally of points.
Nintendo
-Something dealing with Wii Fit I’m sure.
-They’ll announce the next Mario and Zelda games to launch in 2010.
I almost forgot VidZones will be shown to the E3 throng as well.

-Killzone 2 will finally get a bundle with the new DLCs included for North America.
-Uncharted 2 will also get a (White Slim PS3) bundle and it will also include the first game as a bonus.
-God Of War III confirmed for a March 2010 release.
-PS2 backwards compatibility returns along with the party system and Netflix in an upcoming firmware update.
-PSP GO! revealed and trophies for PSP games.
-Xbox live will be free or get a significant price cut.
-Another 360 price cut or even a slim Xbox 360.
-Zune HD support for the 360 (similar to remote play).
-Nintendo will announce an add-on for the Wii that will allow future games to be in HD and older games to be upscaled in HD.
-Nintendo will also announce a storage solution, possibly a Wii HDD.
-a (less powerful) version of Resident Evil 5 for the Wii will be announced.
-The Wii will have different colour SKUs.
-Desz and Juice sign a deal with a major publisher to have their own game. Accordion Hero is announced and bundled with several bottles of tequila, 2 shot glasses, drink tips and a voucher for future DLC . Day 1purchase for me.
Siggy..if trophies were revealed for PSP games, I just might get fired from my job. Trophy whoring at work ain’t no joke!
